NEW FROM HUPSIDE · COMING LABOR DAY 2026

Anyone can generate it. Did you make it original?

Hupmapper puts a number on what you added beyond baseline AI. 0 to 300.

Baseline AI is the floor everyone now starts from. Originality is how far you rise above it, and that lift is the value only a person adds. Hupmapper is the only way to put a number on it. Use AI or don't. The score only measures how far past the floor you got.

The real fight

The fight isn't human vs. AI. It's whether you add anything at all.

Watch the noise this month. The whole industry is racing to watermark, flag, and detect AI writing, arguing over a line between human and machine that no longer holds. Even the watermarks have stopped trying to draw it; they just mark that a model was in the room. That fight is a symptom of a tired idea, that it's you or the machine, one or the other. We think that's the wrong story. The interesting question was never who wrote it. It's whether the work rose above the sameness anyone can generate for free. That distance is the whole game, and it's the one thing a detector will never show you.
How it Works

See what you added, not whether you used AI.

Paste it in

A LinkedIn post, a cover letter, an email, an essay. Anything you've written, with AI or without.

We compare it

Hupmapper measures how far your writing diverges from baseline AI on the same task.

A number from 0 to 300, and the originality fingerprint that comes with it. The higher the number, the more you added.

Where we stand

We're not an AI detector. We're not in that fight at all.

Detectors try to sort human from machine. We don't, and neither should you. We measure one thing: how far your work rises above baseline AI, whether or not you used a machine to get there. That lift is the value only a person adds. We put a number on it. You decide what it's worth.
"We measure the divergence. You determine the value."
Why It Matters

A number you can stand behind.

Score the work, not the worker

A measure of the writing in front of you, never a verdict on the person. Safe to share, safe to build on.

The human value add, made visible

A high score is the part that rises above baseline AI, the originality only a person adds, shown as a number and a fingerprint.

Built to be shared

Post your fingerprint, compare it, come back and beat it.

The only one that shows it

Plenty of tools guess whether AI was involved. Hupmapper is the only one that measures how far past the baseline the work actually went.
Questions

Straight answers, before you ask.

What is Hupmapper?
Hupmapper measures how original a piece of writing is by scoring how far it goes beyond what baseline AI would produce for the same task. You get an Originality Intensity score from 0 to 300. It launches Labor Day 2026 and is free to try.
What is Originality Intensity?
Originality Intensity is Hupmapper's 0 to 300 score for how far a piece of writing diverges from baseline AI. A 0 means the work sits right at the baseline, with nothing added beyond what AI would generate on its own. The higher the score, the more original contribution the work carries.
Is Hupmapper an AI detector?
No. AI detectors try to tell whether a human or a machine wrote something. Hupmapper doesn't. It measures how far the writing rises above baseline AI, and derivative writing scores low no matter who wrote it, so it can't be used to identify a human or an AI.
Does it matter whether I used AI?
No. Hupmapper is tool agnostic. You can use AI heavily or not at all, because the score only reflects how far the finished work goes beyond what baseline AI would have produced.
How is Hupmapper different from AI watermarking or provenance tools?
Watermarking and provenance tools try to record whether AI was involved. Hupmapper answers a different question: how original the result is. It measures the value added on top of baseline AI, not who or what was in the room.
