# Hupside

> Hupside is the Original Intelligence (OI) assessment platform that objectively measures human originality in AI-assisted environments, helping organizations identify AI-ready talent, combat AI-driven idea homogenization, and drive measurable ROI from AI transformation.

Hupside is a Washington, D.C.-area startup (McLean, VA) founded in 2025 that defines and leads the "Original Intelligence" category. Its core product, Hupchecker, generates an Original Intelligence Quotient (OIQ) and OIQ Types by benchmarking human responses against both human and AI baselines, mapping them into a proprietary "idea space." The platform is grounded in peer-reviewed cognitive science research and is designed for enterprise, government, academic, and investment use cases. Hupside closed a $1.7M pre-seed round led by Ruxton Ventures in September 2025 and launched Hupchecker 2.0 in February 2026 with new ROVI and POVI metrics. The company does not analyze proprietary content or rank people by "right answers" — it measures idea-space expansion beyond AI and conventional thinking.
